Meet the MadeComfy Team: Milly Heinnen - Housekeeping and Maintenance Manager

MadeComfy’s newest recruit Milly Heinnen joins our team bringing her extensive experience from the hospitality and healthcare fields.

In her 10 years of working in hospitality, Milly’s experience ranges from coordinating housekeeping in illustrious 6-star hotels such as 8Hotels and Qualia on the Hamilton Island to managing large cleaning teams in busy city hospitals. Milly brings a guest-focused experience inside a well thought out framework that marries both presentation and hygiene together. Her passion for cleaning will be shared among the teams she’ll co-ordinate, working daily to drive positive experiences for both the guests and owners.

When asked why Milly was excited to join the MadeComfy team, she said: “I’m passionate about cleaning because I get excited by crisp white sheets on a tightly made bed, dust free surfaces, shiny floors and the perfectly folded towel. I find cleaning is incredibly therapeutic, and those that share this passion are whom I seek to be a part of my team. My goal is to create a housekeeping team like no other in the industry… watch this space as there will be wonderful and exciting things coming soon for our housekeeping and maintenance departments!”

We’re excited to have Milly take on this role and can’t wait to see her kick these goals!

Below are a few of the main responsibilities that Milly has been tasked with and will be managing in her role:

1) Housekeeping Management
a) Coordination of housekeepers to ensure homes are prepared and ready for each guests stay to a 5-star standard

b) Providing the benefit of her experience to housekeepers and working with them to drive continuous improvement

c) Implementing service level standards so guests will always be wowed when they walk through the front door of a MadeComfy home at how clean and tidy it is

2) Property Maintenance
a) Liaising with guests, owners and strata to coordinate required maintenance in homes

b) Building and maintaining a preferred supplier database for prompt attention to maintenance issues. At the heart of this supplier list will be quality workmanship and competitive pricing, so owners can rest-assured that any work undertaken in their homes will tick both these boxes.

Excited to put all her skills to use Milly will be working on delivering a housekeeping and maintenance service that has presentation, attention to detail, organisation and hygiene at the core of her operation.
