MadeComfy 2020 Corporate Traveller Survey

While Covid-19 has impacted the corporate travel market significantly this year, most (65%) of business travellers expect to resume travel for work within the next 6 months, while 25% expect to travel again 'as soon as it is allowed', according the 2020 MadeComfy Corporate Travel Market Survey, conducted in July.

Just 10% of respondents reported they 'were not comfortable' with travelling for work in the survey, indicating a strong rebound for the corporate accommodation sector when restrictions ease across the country.

Short-term rentals have emerged in recent years as a fast growing segment of the business accommodation market, with Airbnb named as the second most popular accommodation brand in our survey. Business travellers are increasingly preferring to stay in entire self-contained properties over hotels for value, space and privacy reasons.
