From today, the state government will be funding 150,000 Victorian travel vouchers as part of a $200 million business stimulus package. Victorians will now be eligible to apply for $200 travel and accommodation vouchers.
The Victorian travel voucher scheme aims to boost the state’s economic recovery from the pandemic and was proven successful late last year with the Melbourne Money program.

As for the formalities, you must be 18 years old to register, and only one person per household can apply. The first 10,000 vouchers will be allocated to residents with an eligible Victorian Seniors Card or Seniors Business Discount Card. The remaining 140,000 vouchers will be available for Victorians who can register from March 23rd on a first-come-first-served basis.
To cash in the $200 vouchers, you have to stay for two nights in paid accommodation and spend at least $400 on accommodation, tours or experiences between April 8th and May 27th.
